Dennis Newton Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Inc. has been in business in Middlebury, VT, serving Addison County and beyond since 1992.  Prior to starting his own business Dennis worked in the electrical and refrigeration field for 11 years with the same company, making it a combined 29 years of experience in electrical wiring, refrigeration and air conditioning.  Dennis has slowly grown his business over the years and now has 3 employees (all licensed electricians) working with him, making it possible for them to do extensive wiring jobs in new construction as well as renovation projects.

The area of air conditioning installation and service has grow immensely in the last 10 years.  When Dennis first started his electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning business, most of the air conditioning service and installation he did was for retail outlets, stores and restaurants.  Now with new products like the Mitsubishi Ductless Air Conditioners more and more residential homeowners are seeking the comfort and convenience of air conditioning at home.

Another need we have seen surface over the last few years is in standby generators.  Businesses and homeowners’ alike want to protect their companies and residences in the event of an extended power outage and standby generators are a smart solution.

Dennis Newton Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Inc has worked aside apartment owners and property management companies to inform and assist them with code compliance with the State of Vermont and National Electrical Code (NEC).  In recent years we have converted many apartment buildings from standard smoke detectors to combination smoke/CO2 detectors.  Dennis can assist you in navigating this process smoothly.
